When you create an account (including a client account through our scheduling system), you are responsible for providing accurate information and keeping your login credentials confidential. Passwords are stored in encrypted or hashed form by our service providers. You may request that we update or delete your account at any time (see Section 9). Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
5. How We Share Information
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate our business and who are obligated to protect it, including:
Squarespace (website hosting and site analytics);
Acuity Scheduling (appointment booking, client accounts, reminders, and payment checkout);
Stripe (payment processing);
Email, communication, and analytics providers we use to run the business.
We may also disclose information (a) to comply with law, legal process, or government requests; (b) to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our clients, or others; (c) to prevent fraud or abuse; or (d) in connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of our business, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this Policy.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Site and our service providers use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to keep the Site functioning, remember your preferences, keep you logged in, process bookings and payments securely, and understand how visitors use the Site. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may limit Site functionality. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by law.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, to provide our services, and to meet legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution requirements. Transaction records are generally retained for at least [7] years to comply with tax and accounting rules. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and reputable, security-certified service providers, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and other U.S. states, and the EU, UK, Canada, Australia, Brazil, and other countries), you may have the right to:
Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose;
Access and receive a copy of your personal information;
Correct inaccurate information;
Delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising (we do not engage in these practices);
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;

10. Legal Bases for Processing (EU/UK Visitors)
If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal information based on: performance of a contract (booking and payment); legitimate interests (running and securing our business); legal obligation (tax and accounting); and consent (marketing and non-essential cookies).
11. International Transfers
We operate from the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you use the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, for transfers of personal information from the EU/UK.
12. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in some jurisdictions), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please review their policies.
